Screened Porch Addition

This is a screen porch addition of my own design in close collaboration with the customer. We cut a door into the wall for access from the home and added a power outlet and lighting to this new room. It has beautiful, knot-free mahogany decking with hidden fasteners, and screening installed  below the decking prevents insects from coming up from below. The custom screens have chamfering, adding attractive shadow lines, and all the screens and lower trim elements are gapped slightly off the deck to allow drying in that rot-prone area. The standing seam metal roof is a premium feature that will protect this addition for generations.
