About Me

I have lived in the Newfane area for over 40 years and done home renovation for about 15. In my previous profession as an antique dealer, I restored objects to get them ready for market and have worked with wood, metal, ceramic and fabric. In that time I learned to respect objects and to restore them without altering their integrity.  If my restoration of an object went unnoticed during a sale I would always let a buyer know what alterations had been done before they made the purchase. 

I have brought this transparency to my work as a remodeller. I make sure customers know exactly what is being done to their home, often providing photo records of work before it gets closed behind the next layer so later work can go more smoothly. 

I love the problem- solving involved in renovation and generally work on one job at a time. This limits confusion and misunderstanding and allows me to focus on the customer and their needs. My work is fully insured and references are available on request.
